The answer to your parenting question is already within you.
Personalized coaching for modern parents.
Parenting in our complex world is hard, and no one gives you a roadmap to navigate this profoundly important journey. I believe that we all have an internal compass guiding us, and my role as your parent coach is to help you access and follow that compass.
Rather than teach you my way of parenting, I will share knowledge and ask questions that will help you discover your ideal way of parenting. Through our work together, my mission is for you to feel more confident as a parent, understand the why of your parenting decisions, and notice positive changes in your daily family life. This is a journey of discovery… everything you need is already within you.
About me…
I’m Heather Spadaccini, certified parent coach. I have a Master’s degree in education from Columbia University and years of experience teaching elementary school in New York City and Los Angeles. I’m also a mom of two kids.
My approach is grounded in the leading evidence-based practices in neuroscience, attachment theory, emotional intelligence and communication techniques. Essentially, we will illuminate how connection, compassion, respect and open dialogue are expressed in your family. Transformation happens as we explore these practices in an environment of safety and trust, shining a light on your unique experiences, values and inner wisdom.
The abundance of parenting information can feel overwhelming, difficult to implement, or out of alignment with your personal values. As a mother, I live with the tension between theory and reality and I feel the joys and pains of parenting firsthand. I will meet you with empathy in this space. You are the expert on your family and no one knows your child better than you. My breadth of experience allows me to support your specific intentions and I’m with you every step of the way as you shift the dynamics within your home so everyone is set up to thrive.
I’m here to support your parenting journey.
Alleviate specific parenting challenges.
Some of the patterns we can address include responding to toddler tantrums or tweens pushing boundaries, implementing screen time limits, understanding how to support your neurodiverse child, resolving partner differences in parenting styles or creating systems to ease the commotion of daily life.
Actualize the best version of your family.
Perhaps you want a dedicated time to stay informed on developmental expectations and best practices. Maybe you long for more everyday magic – connection, ease, presence, and enjoyment with your family during this precious and fleeting time while your children are young. I’m here to help you turn that vision into reality.
I am grateful for my amazing clients…
